My Review ~ 3.75/5 stars!!
Ethan Parker is all alone. Orphaned as
a child and put in the system he has survived the only way he knows
how, depending on no one but himself. All that starts to change when
Emily knocks on his door. Emily is sweet and friendly with a smile
that is contagious. She is also going through some things that Ethan
feels he needs to protect her from. Ethan and Emily's relationship
slowly grows (in a span of 15 years) into so much more. They learn so
much about themselves and each other over the years and it grows into
something beautiful.
I loved Ethan and Emily. Their journey
was sweet with a few bumps along the way but worked out in the end.
Since I read the adult version it definitely got HOT also. The only
thing that I would have to complain about is that it being a novella
wasn't long enough. This story could have been so much more if it was
a full length novel. I felt like some things where a little rushed
and not given enough face-time. It was an enjoyable, sweet little
read but if it was fleshed out a little more it could have been a
GREAT story!!
About the Author
After moving to St. Louis to attend college, she earned a degree in Education. During her Master’s program, Evelyn discovered her fascination with behavior and psychology.
Her first professional job experience was as a juvenile counselor, which led her to venture into other human sciences, eventually making a career with Behavior Analysis. While writing is a hobby for Evelyn, she often uses her experiences with human behavior to guide her characters.
She’s written short stories since childhood but only recently began exercising her real writing muscles. While she does not consider herself a professional writer in any sense of the word, she continues to polish her craft and hopes for success in her writing ventures, even if they are just as a hobby.

Nolan’s hands work their way down to my jeans and he unbuttons them. My back arches, allowing him to continue. He slides my jeans off before crushing my lips with his. I shut my eyes, ready to enjoy the feeling. I’ve wanted this for so long.

Hello Danielle!
Thanks so much for coming to Alpha's, Authors and Books Oh My to
answer our questions. You are a new author with your very first book
published titled Irresistible Desire. Can you tell us a little bit
about yourself?
I am 28, and a mother
of three. I have two girls Madison 9, Bailey 5 and my lil man Finn
who is 1 ½. I have been married to my husband Will for almost 10 yrs
and together almost 13! I run a boutique online, Bailey Booper’s
Boutique. I have always written as a hobby and always said my goal
since high school was to have a book published before I was 30. I
turned 28 in February and a week before my birthday I said Screw It I
am going to go for it and write a book! With all the options out
there for new authors there was no reason for me to put it off any
longer
Describe
Irresistible Desire in 30 Words or less.
A Steamy, Hot,
Emotional Roller coaster Ride. It will make you laugh, cry, scream,
and swoon all with in a few hours of reading it! It will leave you
wanting more. Kayden Knox will have your panties melting off!
How did you come
up with the title?
One of my favorite
quotes is Robert Frosts, “Love is an Irresistible Desire to be
Irresistibly Desired.” I new after coming up with my story line and
ideas for this book that it fit perfectly. I loved how no one had
used it yet! I was able to find a clever way to incorporate the books
name into the story, so it was Perfect.
Do you have a
favorite chapter, scene or part that you wrote and if so why?
My favorite scene is
the hot fudge scene in Kayden’s penthouse suite. It is the first
time Kayden & Savannah were together intimately in a more
intimate way. The other two times before that were “Quickie’s”
This scene they really took the time to connect with each other on a
deeper sexual level. I also love how playful it was
When did you first
realize you wanted to be a writer and what inspired your first book?
I have wanted to be a
writer ever since Elementary School! I have been writing poetry and
short stories my entire life. Every time I read a book I said I
really need to be doing this! I am a huge soap opera fan and romantic
novel fan and was inspired by the years of watching soaps &
reading novels. Tied that in with things I love myself and with that
came Savannah’s story!
Do you have any
writing rituals or a process you follow?
Not really. I kind of
just makes notes whenever an idea pops into my head and sometimes I
will have one idea in mind when I am writing and than be inspired by
something I saw or read that day and totally change the entire idea
to something completely different. My story pretty much comes to me
while I am writing it, lol I guess you can say.
Where and when do
you prefer to do your writing?
My favorite time to
write is at nighttime once all the kids are in bed and I can truly
relax and focus. I try to write during the day, but with my Boutique
I am always so busy I just cannot seem to focus.
Is
there any particular author or book that influenced you?
My main influences
are V.C. Andrews, Sylvia Day, and Olivia Cunning.
What do you like
to do when you're not writing?
I love walking with
my kids, when its nice outside we go for a 2 mile walk together
pretty much everyday! Another favorite pass time is going out to eat
with my kids and Husband, it can be anywhere from Mcdonalds to The
Texas Roadhouse, just getting out of the house and spending time
together. My favorite thing at night if I am not writing, is I love
laying on the couch and watching shows on my DVR. In peace &
quiet!
Do
you have any favorite authors or favorite books?
My
favorite Author growing up was V.C. Andrews, and now I Love Sylvia
Day, J.A. Redmerski, S.C. Stephens, Olivia Cunning, Jamie
McGuire..ect there are SO MANY Amazing Authors out there right now I
could go on ALL DAY!
What can we expect
from Danielle Jamie next?
Right now I have been
brain storming for Book 2 for my Savannah Trilogy! It is going to be
full of hot steamy sex and crazy ass drama!
What 3 words
describe the author you want to be?
That’s hard to
answer? LOL, I guess Inspiring, Admirable, Fun!

Well
I love to look at a man in a nice fitted pair of briefs, but commando

I love a man with
gorgeous eyes and a nice butt, a chiseled chest would be nice but not
a must, also I have a huge pet peeve about teeth! They have to have
an amazing smile!

Hello everyone and welcome to Alpha's, Authors and Books Oh My. I started my Facebook page with the same name a few weeks ago to share my love of all things book related.
