iFeel by Marissa Carmel Review & Giveaway!

Hey, everyone! It's Kelli here and I'd like to welcome you to our stop on the iFeel Blog Tour.

Book Summary:
Lust. Anger. Hate. Desire. Love. Happiness. Joy. iFeel.

What happens when an unknowing empath meets a pixie who wears leather, a snitch who is repulsive and a fiery angel who can literally set your soul on fire? A whole lot of emotional turmoil and one love story ignited.

Liv Christianni is isolated, alone, tortured and withdrawn, saddled with the torrential downpour of the world’s emotions. Accepting of her providence Liv has lost all hope, until one day fate steps in and spins the course of her life like a spiraling top. Hunted by a Spirit Stalker, Liv is forced to gain control of herself and her surroundings, threatened by the touch of her immortal love; she must find a way to survive both physically and emotionally. Can she find the courage to accept her true self? Can she love unconditionally cognizant of the condemning consequences? Can she rise from the ashes to become the person she was always meant to be?

Funny, witty, real, and poignant, iFeel rips into your soul, and sets your emotions on fire.

If you are a fan of Charmed or Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries or The Secret Circle this series is for you!

My Review:
It's been awhile since I've picked up anything in the paranormal genre, including paranormal romance. I chose this because the description sounded interesting and unique. And that is exactly what iFeel is.

Initially, we are introduced to a 21 year old woman who believes herself to have a mental disability similar to Bipolar Disorder. She is prone to nervous breakdowns and swears she feels others' emotions which cause her "meltdowns". Liv (short for Alivyanna) runs into a gorgeous man and can't get him out of her head. After a night of clubbing with friends and an incident she barely remembers, she wakes up in her own apartment with the man, Justice (or Justinian). This is where the good stuff comes in. He takes her to meet his good friend who confirms she has supernatural powers. From here, things get set into motion and we learn Liv is being hunted by a Spirit Stalker - who essentially wants to suck her dry. It's now Justice's "job" to make sure she stays safe.

The story itself is very intriguing and will suck you in. The world is quite realistic and believable, thankfully. Several types of beings will be introduced, but not all are a significant part of the story, at least in this installment. iFeel has many humorous moments and dialogue exchanges which definitely lightened the mood of this darker tale. The characters are pretty great, especially Justice. I enjoy those tortured, brooding males and he definitely fits that image. Overall, iFeel is a great beginning to a series. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next in Gravitational Pull!
